Glutathione is another nutrient that has been found to 
strengthen the immune system so it can fight infections.

Glutathione is a very simple molecule that is produced naturally all the time in your body. It is a combination of three simple building blocks of protein or amino acids — cysteine, glycine and glutamine.

Glutathione Production Can be Hijacked!

Though most of us think Tylenol is the "safe" drug to take . . at least safer than NSAIDs (Aspirin), it is not.
Tylenol does not even reduce inflammation.  It only blocks pain signals to the brain.  

Tylenol depletes glutathione, which is essential to the immune system, especially after vaccination.  
And vaccines block glutathione production, possibly on purpose.  Why?  Because glutathione is a master detoxifier!  
And the toxins in vaccines are one way they illicit an immune response :(.  

To make things worse, many pediatricians will recommend Tylenol for post-vaccination "discomfort".  

The Glutathione Story

Such as this powerful antioxidant is most plentiful in the red, pulpy area of the watermelon near the rind. It can also be found in broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, and other cruciferous vegetables.

​Certainly you've heard about antioxidants, like Vitamin C, being extremely beneficial in protecting and repairing cells, and even DNA and your energy-producing mitochondria, from oxidative damage.  Well move over Vitamin C, because Glutathione, your unsung relative, is on the rise!

A major reason you haven't heard much about Glutathione is that it can not easily be provided by supplementation. 
​Therefore, many honest supplement provider will promote it.  It must be produced by our bodies to be of much benefit.  
Granted, if combined with NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) and Alpha Lipoic Acid, the odds of absorption are increased, and supplements are available.  However, the food-based precursors for our bodies' ability to generate Glutathione, via our liver, are the most effective way of supplying "The Master Antioxidant".

Basic Process Leading to the Production of Glutathione in our Bodies

Glutathione is critical for one simple reason: It recycles antioxidants. You see, dealing with free radicals is like handing off a hot potato. They get passed around from vitamin C to vitamin E to lipoic acid and then finally to glutathione which cools off the free radicals and recycles other antioxidants. After this happens, the body can “reduce” or regenerate another protective glutathione molecule and we are back in business.
